About Our PTA

Our active PTA supports our school through the power of parent involvement. Come join us for our next meeting! 

We encourage staff and parents to join Valhalla PTA. Our PTA provides our students with playground equipment, assemblies, field trip transportation, dances, and many other fun family events.

We will attach PTA meetings to family events, such as back to school night. We encourage you to attend and share your opinions regarding our school and PTA direction.   You can be a member of PTA without attending meetings. Financial assistance is available for those wanting to join but need help to afford it.  2017-18 annual PTA dues are $20 for families and $12 for individuals.

  • Organize family events such as Movie Nights and the Spring Carnival
  • Raise funds for the school through the annual Walk a Thon
  • Decide how funds will be allocated for school programs like assemblies, field trips, and computer programs.
  • Have fun with other parents while making our school the BEST it can be.

Our only fundraiser is the Walkathon, which will be held on October 12 this year. Fundraising envelopes will be handed out next week at our kick-off assembly. If every student brings in $25-30, we will meet our goal! Look for more information next week.
